Phoenix District

The Phoenix District election was carried out in an atmosphere of unity and responsibility. Pastors gathered with a clear sense that the decisions being made would help guide the spiritual and organizational direction of the district for the coming term. The ambience and coexistence of this district’s pastors can be very light and humorous amongst each other, lightening the mood and early morning of all present.

The process reflected both order and participation, as pastors considered the needs of the churches and the leadership required to serve them.

The election concluded with the selection of a new district Bishop, Eloy Fierro, a continuing Treasurer Eliud Cuellar, and new Secretary, Hector Macias. Each of these individuals was entrusted with their role through the confidence of the church and a shared desire to continue strengthening the work of the district.

The Phoenix District was greatly blessed with Treasurer Cuellar in the past term, and it looks forward to continuing the great administration he’s provided.

The two candidates that were selected from the initial voting’s to run for Bishop were Eloy Fierro and Eliud Cuellar. And running for Treasurer, Eliud Cuellar and Jesus Montijo. It’s said the votes were easily given to Cuellar after the two runner ups were announced. Lastly, running for Secretary Hector Macias and Cuellar once again.

With newly elected Bishop and Secretary, we anticipate seeing their first steps in their respective roles.

The question that remains is whether these leaders will faithfully cultivate and nurture the church through their positions, or merely hold them until the 2029 elections.

El Paso District

The process moved forward with participation from those present, reflecting both the seriousness of the decisions being made and the commitment of the pastors to the well-being of their churches.

The following section presents the candidates who participated in the district elections, along with the individuals who were ultimately elected to serve in each position.

The election concluded with Patricio Porras elected as Secretary, Omar Gámez elected as Bishop, and Omar León elected as Treasurer. Each candidate was presented before the group, and the voting process allowed the pastors to express their confidence in those they believed were best prepared to serve in these positions.

One notable aspect of this election was that no new candidates were introduced. The three positions were contested among the same group of individuals already serving within the district. Porras and Gámez ran for the position of Bishop, while León and Porras were both considered for the roles of Secretary and Treasurer.

The results reflected a continuation of familiar leadership within the district. This continuity suggests a desire among the pastors to maintain stability while continuing the work already underway.

Dallas District

In a significant moment for the district, pastors gathered to participate in its first elections, taking part in a process that would establish the leadership for this new chapter.

The following section presents the candidates who participated in the district elections, along with the individuals who were ultimately elected to serve in each position.

The election concluded with Adán Martínez elected as Bishop, Abraham Medina elected as Secretary, and Arturo Bustamante elected as Treasurer. In this first election of the newly formed district, each candidate stood before the assembly as pastors cast their votes, helping establish the leadership that will guide this new beginning.

For the position of Bishop, Jesús Cantú ran alongside Adán Martínez, with Martínez ultimately receiving the majority of the votes. In the election for Secretary, Abraham Medina ran alongside Jesús Cantú, with Medina securing the position. For Treasurer, the candidates presented were Arturo Bustamante and Ananías Núñez, with Bustamante ultimately elected to serve in that role.

The results reflect the district’s trust in these individuals as they assume their respective responsibilities. As the new term begins, the focus now turns toward how these leaders will guide and support the churches in the years leading up to the next election cycle.

Washington District

With a spirit of responsibility, the pastors gathered to determine the leadership for the district’s next season.

The following results reflect the candidates who participated in the election process, as well as those who were ultimately entrusted with each position.

For the role of Bishop, Joab Romero ran alongside Benjamin Morra, with Romero receiving the majority of the votes. In the election for Secretary, Milkar Gutiérrez ran against Oscar Haro, with Gutiérrez securing the position. The role of Treasurer was contested by Benjamin Morra and César Silva, with Morra ultimately elected to serve in that capacity.

The outcome of the election reflects the confidence placed in these leaders by the pastors of the district. As the new term begins, the district now looks forward to the work that lies ahead under the leadership of those who have been chosen to serve.

With a young Bishop alongside his wife leading the district of Washington, we’re looking forward to a great movement and edification for the youth. Romero is known to be a biblically based conservative, and we’re anticipating the doctrine and values implemented and preached.

Los Angeles District

The pastors assembled to participate in the election that would determine the district’s leadership for the next season.

The following results reflect the candidates who participated in the election process, as well as those who were ultimately entrusted with each position.

The election concluded with Sergio Bojórquez elected as Bishop, Josue Albañez elected as Secretary, and Raúl Pérez elected as Treasurer.

For the position of Bishop, Samuel Aguilar also stood as a candidate alongside Bojórquez. In the election for Treasurer, Josué Albañez participated as the other candidate, while Basilio Zavala ran alongside Quirino for the role of Secretary.

The election results mark the beginning of a new term of leadership for those chosen to serve the district.

With the LA District holding great potential, the focus now turns to the direction this newly elected team will take.

Elgin District

Pastors of the district of Elgin gathered to take part in the election process, participating in the selection of the leaders who will serve in the upcoming term.

The election concluded with Armando Jiménez elected as Bishop, Juan Corrujedo elected as Secretary, and Moisés Castañeda elected as Treasurer. With the votes counted, these individuals were chosen to serve in their respective positions.

For the position of Bishop, Moisés Castañeda also ran as a candidate alongside Jiménez. In the election for Secretary, Moisés Castañeda once again stood as a candidate, this time running against Corrujedo. For the role of Treasurer, Víctor Soto also participated in the election alongside Castañeda.

Castañeda appearing as a candidate in each of the three positions is certainly notable and invites reflection on the role he continues to play within the district.

With the Elgin elections concluded, these leaders now step into their respective roles as the district looks ahead to the work that lies before them in the coming term.

As a district whose geography can make unity more difficult, it raises the question of whether ministers will be sent under this new administration to cities where the church has not yet established a presence, answering the biblical call to go out and reach new places.

At the time of this report, the results from the Atlanta District were not available.

Nevertheless, this moment also serves as a reminder of the importance of investing in the next generation. As these new administrations begin their term, there is a continued hope that they will encourage and support young people in pursuing education and professional development in the secular world, so that they may return as a blessing to the church. By valuing the youth as one of the church’s greatest investments and by faithfully preserving its doctrine and values, we can help cultivate future generations of educated, capable, and committed leaders who will continue strengthening the work of the church.
